Gabrielle is a philanthropist focused on education, health and the arts. A graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Gabrielle received her Master of Philosophy in International Relations from Cambridge University, UK, where her thesis focused on the International Court of Justice. Recently, Gabrielle was appointed Goodwill Ambassador for North America to the International Commission of the Voices of Future Generations Project Book Series, which operates in partnership with the United Nations through its Division on Sustainable Development. In addition to serving as a US Board Member, Gabrielle is a Trustee of The Moore Charitable Foundation, serves as VP of the Green Vale School Board of Trustees, and is on the Women’s Board of The Boys’ Club of New York, a 140-year-old organization which provides after-school programs throughout Manhattan for boys in need of additional support. She currently sits on the Board of the Peconic Baykeeper, an environmental watch group on Long Island, tackling water pollution issues. Gabrielle is also a Board Trustee of New York Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University-Weill Cornell medical system. With her husband Louis Bacon, she is a founding member of the new Parrish Art Museum on Long Island.
